Terms of Service

Africa Creatives Guild ("ACG", "we", "us") is a directory that helps people discover independent photographers, musicians, designers, and other creatives, and helps creatives get discovered. We publish creative profiles, let visitors browse and search them, and let visitors leave reviews.

That is the whole of what we do. ACG is not a booking platform, escrow service, talent agency, or party to any agreement you make with a creative — see Section 4 below.

Creatives can apply to be listed without creating a password up front — you provide your details and email, and we send a link to set a password so you can sign back in later to manage your profile.

Every application and every edit to a published profile is reviewed by our team before it goes live. We may reject an application, reject an edit, or deactivate a published profile at our discretion — including for inaccurate information, inappropriate content, or a breach of these Terms.

You're responsible for the accuracy of everything on your profile, and for keeping your account credentials secure. Content you upload (photos, bio, links) must be yours to share or ones you have the right to use.

Visitors can leave a rating and comment on a creative's profile without an account. Reviews are published immediately and reflect the reviewer's own opinion, not ours. We may remove a review that is abusive, spam, or clearly fraudulent, but we don't moderate reviews for accuracy before they go live and we're not responsible for their content.

ACG is a directory only. We do not provide, supervise, guarantee, or take responsibility for any creative service, product, booking, payment, or agreement between you and a creative you find through the platform. Any work, communication, payment, contract, or dispute between you and a creative happens entirely outside ACG and is solely between you and them.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ACG disclaims all liability for any loss, damage, injury, non-performance, quality dispute, payment dispute, or other issue arising from a service rendered, or an interaction that happens, outside the platform — including where that interaction was initiated by connecting through ACG. We make no warranty about any creative's skill, reliability, availability, or conduct.

By using this platform to browse, contact, or connect with a creative, you agree to these Terms, including this section.

Don't use ACG to submit false information, scrape or abuse our systems, harass other users, post unlawful or infringing content, or attempt to bypass the review process. We may suspend or remove accounts or content that violate this.

You keep ownership of everything you upload or write. By publishing it on ACG, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform for as long as your profile is published. The ACG name, logo, and site design belong to us.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use ACG after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
